Stay Organized With A DIY Desk Planner

Most days I find myself sitting at my desk trying to meet one deadline or another. But SOMEHOW I always manage to miss one thing. I like to think of myself as an organized person, but this

doesn’t really work out for me if I don’t actually write stuff down. How am I going to conquer the world if I don’t actually remember to do that? Ugh.

In comes this desk planner to save the day! Its amazing because you can switch out the “to-do lists” at the end of the week or whenever you are done with them; or even take them with you when you’re not near your desk!

You will need:

-Small sized canvas (I used a 9×9 one I bought at Michael’s for $3.99)

-Acrylic paint in your favorite colors (2)

-Mini clothespins (I used 5)

-Glue

-Scissors

-Cardstock

1. Paint a border on the canvas in whatever color you’d like. You could also get creative and paint a fun design!

2. White the canvas is drying, paint the clothespins then lay them out to dry.

3. When both the canvas an the clothespins have dried, glue the clothespins to the canvas in whatever arrangement you choose. Make sure that you glue the clothespins in such a way that you can still open them!

4. Cut out small squares or rectangles of card-stock to serve as your “to-do lists”, write on, and then clip with the clothespins.

This is a very easy project and it really does help you stay on top of things. Never miss another deadline again!
