I’m going to get right to the point with this one – I’m about to freeze my tush of this weekend. Winter storm Jonas is coming with full force, and the threat of it alone has people buying out the shelves at Trader Joes. Not kidding, even the line to get in the store was 30 minutes long. I tend not to freak out as much as others once I’m sure that I have enough wine to get me through the snow-in.
But trust me this here is better than #allthedamnwines. My darling friend who owns a sauce and spice empire ( can you say #bossbabe?) sold me a jar of her Essiespice Tamarind Oh! sauce.Now were do I begin? She is literally bottling gold and selling it! It’s so good! I’m excited to try out her other sauces and come up with recipes using them – keep on the lookout!
What you need:
1 oz Essiespice Tamarind Oh! sauce
1.5 to 2 oz lime juice
3 oz whiskey
1tsp vanilla bean paste
0.5 oz brown sugar simple syrup
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake shake shake it up! Pour into a lowball glass over ice and serve.
The depth of flavors in this drink blew my mind and I’m sure it’ll amaze you too. Besides theres whiskey in it and you probably need to warm up.
